Mom and Dad,

We love you so much and are so proud of all that you are doing in Australia. You both are amazing examples of goodness and hard work. We pray for you daily and love to hear from you.

Hello Jensen Family

I emailed Mom and Dad and asked if we might use this blog as a way for the Doug and Beverly Jensen Family to stay in touch better. I will be doing the following:

1. Inviting each of you to join as a contributor of the blog. (You will receive an email doing this) After you accept the invitation you can post pictures, make comments etc. It is still uncertain whether you will have to open a gmail account or not but we will figure this out.

2. I will call each of you to walk you through the process (if you want me to) It is really simple and fun.

Everyone is so busy and no one has to contribute - but I know that I am able to feel closer to those whose blogs I follow (Like Jenny and Emily McAllister) My children also love to follow the blogs. I think Mom and Dad will really enjoy it as well.

We love each of you and are excited to hear how everyone is doing.

Cows were curious. They were across the field when we arrived. When we took the picture, they came up to the fence and just watched us.

Sunrise on our trip south. What a serene place to see the sunrise! We were able to see the sunset just a little north of where we had seen the sunrise.

Point Leeuwin. You can see the wind is blowing, but it is a gorgeous spot where the two oceans meet. You can see the waves coming in from two directions. It was fascinating to see the lights in the lighthouse.

Mission Preparations

It's just 13 days until we enter the MTC and it's hectic in our household. We're very happy to be able to spend time with our family, and they are helping us get ready to rent the top floor of our home. Angela helped me sort through my clothes. Tyler could hardly believe that I was taking that many clothes to Australia. However, part of the closet is reserved for clothes that may not fit in the suitcase because of the weight restrictions.

Diane is helping me set up our blog. This will be a great asset for our journaling on our mission if I can keep up.

Let's see how this works!
